Terms of use

By using Tagmap's website or any other services provided by Tagmap, you agree that you will abide by the following terms of use and understand that if it is suspected these rules have been violated, your Tagmap account may be suspended or terminated, and/or your ability to access this website and use its services may be revoked as necessary.

Take note that this is not an exhaustive list of prohibited usage, and your account may therefore be terminated even if there is no suspicion of these terms having been explicitly violated.

Prohibited usage of Tagmap

1. Do not use Tagmap if you do not agree to these terms of use. Violation of these terms can result in the suspension or deletion of accounts.
2. Do not use Tagmap if you are not at least eighteen (18) years of age.
3. Do not post, upload, request, or link to any content that violates local or United States law.
4. Do not post offers, engage in solicitation, or engage in facilitation of illegal prostitution and/or sex trafficking.
5. Do not post offers, engage in solicitation, or engage in facilitation of trafficking substances that are illegal in the United States or where you reside.
6. Do not post any material that involves the exploitation or endangerment of minors or child pornography.
7. Do not post content that is excessively hateful or has the intent of inciting or causing violence.
8. Do not post copyrighted material that you do not have explicit permission to use.
9. Do not engage in spamming, flooding, or trolling of any users or communities on Tagmap.
10. Do not post any material that is pornographic in nature. Such images can be linked to in conversations with users, but may not be used as a user avatar.
11. Do not post personally identifying information ('dox') of other users without their explicit permission.
12. Do not add information to your profile that you do not want to be made public, including your location, but excluding your email.
13. Do not register an account for an individual other than yourself.
14. Do not scrape information from this website while authenticated for the purpose of archiving or distributing restricted information, such as user profile information for users that have their profile set to 'restricted' or 'location-restricted'.
15. Do not scrape user information from this website for any malicious purpose including but not limited to engaging in spamming/trolling/flaming of users, creating databases/lists of user information, or otherwise attempting to bulk export user data for unauthorized external usage. If you would like to use Tagmap's user API to develop an application, please contact us using the feedback form.

Tagmap Discord and Reddit Integrations

Tagmap offers users the ability to connect their Reddit and/or Discord accounts in order to better find them users that are similar to them. If you grant Tagmap permission to do this, your subscribed subreddits and/or your discord guilds ('servers') will be stored alongside your user account. These can be removed, and are additionally removed if your account is deleted. These features are both optional for usage of Tagmap, and Tagmap is not affiliated with Discord or Reddit in any way, and cannot read your private information from these services such as your direct messages.

Tagmap Platinum Subscriptions

Tagmap offers a subscription service called Tagmap Platinum, a $9/month payment to help support Tagmap that grants the user priviliges to use additional special features such as set their marker color, see who has viewed their profile, and more.

Tagmap Platinum subscriptions may be canceled at any time by sending an email to [email protected]. Additionally, users may receive a full refund of their subscription if requested within a day of it being made by emailing [email protected].

Email notifications from Tagmap

When you provide your email address to Tagmap to enable email notifications, Tagmap will email you when a user messages you and you are offline. You may also receive emails on important updates to Tagmap, but these are very rare.

To unsubscribe from emails you receive from Tagmap, click the 'unsubscribe' link that is included at the bottom of every notification email, or uncheck the box labeled 'Email me when I receive a message on Tagmap' under your email address on the settings page.
